ADHD/ADD

ADHD and ADD impact more than attention—they shape how individuals engage with school, work, relationships, emotions, and self-esteem. Whether you're a teen navigating academic pressures or an adult juggling responsibilities, understanding how your brain works is key to thriving. At United Hope Center, we provide therapy to help clients of all ages gain clarity, build skills, and feel empowered in their daily lives.

Our team works with teens and adults in both English and Spanish, offering a nonjudgmental, strengths-based approach to managing ADHD/ADD. We create a safe space where clients can explore their challenges, develop practical tools, and feel supported in embracing their unique minds.

ADHD can look different across ages:

In Teens:

  • Difficulty focusing or completing assignments

  • Disorganization, forgetfulness, or losing things

  • Impulsivity or acting without thinking

  • Mood swings or emotional outbursts

  • Feeling misunderstood by teachers or family

  • Struggles with self-confidence or motivation

In Adults:

  • Chronic procrastination or disorganization

  • Time management challenges and missed deadlines

  • Trouble sustaining attention at work or in conversation

  • Restlessness, emotional overwhelm, or burnout

  • Forgetfulness and frequent mistakes

  • Shame, frustration, or imposter syndrome

Our therapists use a personalized blend of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), executive functioning coaching, and mindfulness strategies to help clients improve focus, emotional regulation, and confidence. We also support clients navigating co-occurring concerns like anxiety, depression, or low self-worth.

At United Hope Center, we believe that ADHD is not a flaw—it’s a different way of thinking, and with the right support, it can become a source of creativity, resilience, and growth. Therapy is a step toward understanding yourself or your teen and moving forward with purpose.
